At only 21, Connie -- whose keyboard influences are Hank Jones,
McCoy Tyner and Mulgrew Miller -- already commands notice, playing with the
effervescence of a seasoned pro. She made her first album (interpreting the Richard Rodgers Songbook, released worldwide in 2015) while still just a teen.
Connie proved to be the "rising star" of last year's annual Asian Heritage Jazz
Festival and just this summer was invited to play at (according to the Guinness
books) the largest jazz congregation in the world held in Montreal. Besides her
debut disc, the trio will cover selections from her new Limited Edition CD recorded this spring.
It all happens in the intimate setting of a hillside home with awesome acoustics.
